Classic yet unexpected, The Heritage Wine Bar is the perfect balance of old and new, set in one of the Perth CBD’s most beautiful heritage venues; think Donnybrook sandstone, Jarrah wainscots, harlequin floors and a handcrafted pewter bar top.
Intimate yet spacious, you’ll find the venue hosts a bar, restaurant, takeaway wine store and two private dining rooms perfect for events, celebrations or even weddings. Downstairs, our sister venue Bobeche is open late, the perfect spot to continue with a cocktail or nightcap.
Awarded a coveted hat in the national Good Food Guide and heralded by the best of WA and Australian media for both food and wine, The Heritage Wine Bar is one of a small group of Perth venues to earn recognition on a national stage. The vision of career restaurateur Ed Wolkowinski, success is achieved by the marriage of an extensive and award winning wine list. Pouring one of the Australia’s best wine lists with over 100 wines by the glass thanks to the Coravin system. The list features winemakers from WA, across Australia and the world. It is a list that pays respect to the masters whilst also exploring emerging and new-wave producers.
From his snacks to tasting menu Chef Matthew Carulei’s cooking is nothing short of delicious, earning a coveted hat in the national Good Food Guide and heralded by the best of WA and Australian media. His simple yet unmistakable elegant style is underpinned by both a light-heartedness and a respect for technique and ingredients. British with Italian and South African roots, Carulei isn’t one to be pigeonholed; his menu inspired by his own heritage and his early career under Chef Kenny Atkinson at the Michelin starred White Room in the UK.
Accessed from Brookfield Place and St Georges Terrace, The Heritage Wine Bar is set in a landmark building in a prime CBD location; wearing its history and period, from Donnybrook sandstone and Jarrah wainscots, to harlequin floors and handcrafted pewter bar top.
